The chicken we use for our burgers is Halal and is cooked in 100% rapeseed oil in a fryer specified for chicken only, however the grilled chicken used for our salads and kebobs are cooked on the same grill as the bacon. The beef, lamb, and venison are not Halal. Sorry but we do not offer Grilled Chicken as an option.
We are planning to have our menu, which is surprisingly complex, comprehensively analysed. This project is planned to commence within the near future. Once underway, we anticipate it will take several months to be completed.
Our vegetarian burgers are cooked on a separate grill to the meat and chicken. However, we do not operate a dedicated vegetarian kitchen environment. (We are awaiting feedback from our Food Safety consultants on a small number of products which could be contentious on the whole vegetarian/vegan debate).
The Beef we use in our burgers is 100% Aberdeen Angus Scotch Beef and is ground and put into patties by a local butcher to our specification. The patties are pure beef; there are no other ingredients except for the salt & pepper added by our Chef’s as the meat goes onto the Grill.
This process is the same for our Lamb which is 100% fresh Welsh Lamb.
Our Chicken and Junior Chicken burgers are prepared by crumbing the breast in Japanese Panko Crumbs, as is the Goat's Cheese, and then fried in 100% rapeseed oil, so would therefore not be suitable. The Cajun Chicken pieces are also crumbed. Uncooked, the Fries are gluten free, however they are cooked in the same fryer as the breaded goats cheese so not suitable for Coeliacs.
If you wish to bring in your own gluten free bun our chefs would be happy to toast it for you. However, we do not operate a dedicated gluten free kitchen environment. Please ensure that you make the staff aware when you order so that they can advise you further on sauces and other burgers etc.
